June 27, 2021 Grand Opening of TFM at Mueller’s *New* Home at Mueller’s Branch Park Pavilion

Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller is excited to announce the June 27th grand opening of our new permanent home at Mueller’s Branch Park Pavilion! Click here to read our press release.

Starting June 27 at 10am, TFM at Mueller has a new home at Mueller’s Branch Park Pavilion located at 2006 Philomena St. Vendors will be inside of the Pavilion, wrapping around the perimeter of the building and set up on the closed-down Philomena Street segment between Aldrich St. and Mattie St.

Designed by The Lawrence Group, the Pavilion will have a simple, contemporary design that will feature 19,800+ square feet of gathering space; loading/unloading area to accommodate booths, tents, and stages; three walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, bi-folding “garage-style” overhead doors to provide a covered, yet open-air atmosphere; overhead ceiling fans to help with summer-time open air comfort; heating and cooling for closed venue climate control; concessions facilities and two sets of unisex restrooms with common area washing stations. The Pavilion at Branch Park is more centrally accessible to Mueller residents and district parking garages and provides an indoor and outdoor cover for market vendors and attendees. The venue will also be a multi-use facility for all types of events during the year.

We hope you will join us on Sunday, June 27 at 10 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the northeast corner of Philomena and Aldrich streets that includes raffle prizes from beloved TFM vendors. Then stick around after the ceremony to shop all your favorite TFM at Mueller vendors. Moving forward, this new, contemporary home will replace TFM at Mueller’s existing Sunday location at the Browning Hangar, but market hours remain the same — 10am-2pm every Sunday rain or shine. We hope you will join us in celebrating this incredible step forward for the Austin food community!

As we prepare to leave our beloved home under the hangar we know that a move of this kind will be a big change for our market community. It is our hope that this change will bring more opportunities for our vendors and possibly alleviate some of the issues we have at our current location!

For those attending the market who don’t live or work at Mueller, plenty of parking is available at the McBee Garage, which is $1 an hour and less than a five-minute walk to the pavilion, or along streets where parking is allowed. VALIDATION: If you would like to patronize other businesses in the Mueller Development before or after the market, park in designated garages and get your parking ticket validated! The Thinkery and retailers in the Alamo and B.D. Riley’s buildings validate in the garage. Patrons of L’Oca d’Oro, Lady Quack’s and Witchcraft should park in the AMLI garage. Kerbey Lane validates in the Texas Mutual Garage. Additionally, the market is served by a nearby Capital Metro bus stop for routes 37 and 350
