COMMUNITY LECTURES: The Black Farmer Files: A Retrospective Look at African American Farming in Austin, Texas from the 1800’s to Present
Join the Austin History Center, Austin Public Library‘s African American Archivist’s inaugural lecture series during Black History Month about Black Farmers and their agricultural contributions in Austin, Texas, at Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller. The lecture series will feature displays, a community lecture, and free samples from the market. All lectures during the month of February will take place on Wednesdays and will continue throughout the year. The Black Farmer Files Lecture Series is sponsored by Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller.
