Learn about good bugs in the garden with Master Gardener Pat Mokry. Pat is an entomology specialist and will describe the common insect visitors to your garden, and help you troubleshoot with any other bug issues in the garden. Learn how to identify beneficial insects like butterflies and what plants might attract them. Pat will host three 30-min presentations on the hour starting at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30.
About Pat: Patricia Mokry is a Native Texan, born and raised in Llano, Texas. She has degrees in Medical Technology and Science Education. She taught biology at Westlake High School, Austin Community College and St. Edward’s University. She was certified as a Travis County Master Gardener in 2008. She is certified in Plant Propagation and Entomology. She has completed the training and is now completing the service requirements for Earth-Kind Specialist, Compost Specialist and First Detector Specialist.
