March 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2021, join Texas Farmers’ Market for a virtual panel discussion showcasing beloved female farmers’ market vendors who hail from around the world!
Tune in on March 8th at 7pm to hear from Anamaria Guiterrez of Elotes La Tejanita, Garrima Singh of Lamba’s Royal Indian Foods, Julie Myrtille of Julie Myrtille Bakery, Naijean Bernard of Jeany’s Ginger Elixir and Perrine Noelke of Belle Vie Farm and Kitchen as they discuss what it means to be a part of the Texas food community here in Austin. The talk will be moderated by Texas Farmers’ Market Executive Director and co-owner of Hacienda La Chima, Nena Johnson.
The talk will be hosted on Zoom and is FREE to all who register. TFM will send out a link to all those who register via our Eventbrite ticket sign up with instructions on how to tune in closer to the date of the event. The talk will run an hour and a half and the last thirty minutes will be reserved for audience questions!
Want to enjoy a fun snack while watching the discussion? We have partnered with Antonelli’s Cheese to supply viewers with a special TFM cheese plate just for the occasion! Tasting plates are $20 and are available for curbside pickup or delivery prior to the event. All orders will be taken by Antonelli’s prior to the event at the link below. The tasting will be a signature Antonelli’s cheese flight with a twist. It will feature four kinds of cheese, four food pairings, Spanish corn nuts and Easy Tiger Baguette and will include Texas Farmers Market vendors like Pure Luck Farm & Dairy, The Sourdough Project and Madhu Chocolate and friends of the farmers’ market Two Hives Honey and Sheena’s Pickles. And to make it even sweeter, 10% of every plate sold goes to support the Texas Farmers’ Market Ag Producer Support Fund. Make sure to order your tasting plate today at this link.
