Get schooled at the market! Curious about how these amazing market vendors make the artisan foods and products they bring to markets? We’re rolling out a new series at the Wednesday farmers’ market at Mueller where community members will learn from the pros in 30-minute mini workshop sessions. Attendees will have the chance to participate in a free raffle to take home a product from the instructor of the week. Workshops run from 6:30-7pm on Wednesdays along the lake. Join in the fun and education this week!
This week we’ll hear from Stephani of Corona Violeta Farms!
Workshop title: Starting an Easy Cut Flower Garden
Description: Stephani will share their farm’s passion for the “Slow Flower Movement” and show attendees the basics of starting a backyard cut flower garden followed by a Q & A session.
About Corona Violeta Farms: Our small family farm located in Florence began growing cut-flowers two years ago. Sisters-in-law Melissa and Stephani Sterns were retiring professionals leading the way with the help of two very talented husbands, colorful family and friends and fine wine. We learn more every day about growing our passion – beautiful flowers!!
