Texas Farmers’ Market at Lakeline is so excited to welcome back the Ange K Band this year for our Black History Month Celebration! While our celebration might be a bit different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are so excited to welcome Ange and the band back for a safe concert at the market.
We invite all members of our market community to celebrate this important month with us on Saturday, February 27th, 9a-1p. Please remember that the farmers’ market is still operating under COVID-19 protocols and we require that all shoppers wear a face mask and keep a 6 ft distance from others during the entirety of their time spent in the market.
ABOUT ANGE KOGUTZ
When Ange Kogutz doesn’t have words, she usually has a song. Schooled by her Mama’s amazing vinyl collection growing up and influenced by her multi-talented musical stepfather, Ange grew up singing into hairbrushes and broom handles with her many brothers and sisters along to timeless soul classics. She expresses her deepest emotions through music, and loves the fact that it comforts, heals, uplifts, unites, and speaks to mankind. Ange favorite part of performing on any stage is joyously connecting with the crowd, making them feel part of the show and leaving with lasting memories.
Originally from Alabama, Ange is a long-time resident of Austin. She is a fan of a variety of music genres, and has shared a stage or studio with many of Austin’s favorite musical artists, as well as many national acts; too numerous to completely list.
Ange is blessed to be a full-time musician. She is a worship leader with multiple church music ministries, leads her own band (Ange K Band) and has performed several hundred weddings and corporate events as an originating member of the Matchmaker Band.
