Join us every weekend in October for fermentation-focused workshops or demos led by a local leader in the industry! The workshops will take place at Texas Farmers’ Market at Lakeline on Saturdays from 10am-12pm (the middle two hours of market), and Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller on Sundays from 11am-1pm. These weekend events are free and open to the public, but we are encouraging donations in any amount to help support our non-profit markets – donate online here or at our info booth at market. The markets will also have live music, and a booth with items from our silent auction on display for shoppers to bid on.
The annual Silent Auction will run for the month of October, ending on Sunday October 30th. Fermentation enthusiasts will have the opportunity to bid on chef dinners, wine tastings, fermented items, gift baskets, and much more! Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the TFM Ag Producer Support Fund, which allows TFM to offer financial assistance to farmers and ranchers in times of environmental, personal or other crisis and supports new BIPOC farmers in beginning at farmers’ markets. This is our largest annual fundraiser and a wonderful way to support your local farmers and ranchers, who have had such a difficult year facing extreme weather from freezes to severe draught, inflation, and more.
