In order to plan for a festive and safe event, we are mixing things up a bit and it will be different from its original format and spread across five fun-filled Monday nights on Zoom in October, each with a fermentation-focused workshop presented by a local leader in the industry from 7-8:30pm. You can see our speaker schedule and sign up for free tickets here.
We are pivoting our operations to make the event as accessible as possible to fermentation enthusiasts in these unprecedented times and we think it will be a grand month-long event! The event is free and open to all, but we ask that you please sign up for a ticket in order to recieve the zoom link info. The event is free, but we ask for a $10 suggested donation per person.
Proceeds from donations and our silent auction (running online this October 1 — November 1) will benefit Texas Farmers’ Market and our Ag Producer Support Fund, which allows us to support farmers, ranchers and all producer vendors during times of crisis (like winter storm Uri where we gave out over $20k of immediate assistance) and provides funding for our scholarship for new BIPOC farmers joining Texas Farmers’ Markets.
