June 22, 2018: F2M Texas, a 501(c)4 is seeking applications from qualified individuals to serve on the F2M Texas Board of Directors. The Board is looking for individuals who will advocate for Central Texas Farmers, ranchers and new food startups. The Board is comprised of seven members appointed by the F2M Texas Board for three year terms. There are currently two vacancies on the board.

The mission of F2M Texas is to host and educate Central Texas producers and consumers to grow a sustainable food system. The board is mandated to support an Ag Producer Support Fund. Capital is raised for weekly operation through annual and weekly market fees and annual Fermentation Festival fees as well as through grants and gifts from individuals, foundations or from federal, state, and local funding.
The F2M Texas Board meets quarterly on the third Saturday or Sunday at an agreed upon time at a specified location or via conference call. Upon selection to the Board, applicants will submit to a background check and complete a TFM volunteer form.
