The Mueller Development has a comprehensive page on parking in the area. Plenty of parking is available at the McBee Garage, which is $1 an hour and less than a five-minute walk to the hangar. VALIDATION: If you would like to patronize other businesses in the Mueller Development before or after the festival, park in designated garages and get your parking ticket validated! The Thinkery and retailers in the Alamo and B.D. Riley’s buildings validate in the garage. Patrons of L’Oca d’Oro, Lady Quack’s and Witchcraft should park in the AMLI garage. Kerbey Lane validates in the Texas Mutual Garage.
Street Parking
Metered street parking is free on Sundays, but it fills up fast! There will be no parking available in the lot to the west of the Mueller Browning Hangar except for handicapped parking. The majority of that area will be used for festival events. Please note, no parking is ever allowed along Airport Boulevard and parking tickets are very possible.
Public Transportation
The festival is served by a nearby Capital Metro bus stop for routes 37 and 350. Bus Routes: Call Capital Metro at (512) 474-1200 or visit capmetro.org/planner to find the most direct route from your location.
Biking
If you live in central Austin we encourage you to ride your bike to the event! There are many covered bike lanes leading to Mueller Lake Park and lots of bike parking is available.
