The second annual Austin Fermentation Festival on October 25, 2015 featured keynote speaker Jennifer McGruther of Nourished Kitchen book and blog alongside 12 fermentation workshops hosted by local chefs and artisans, a community culture swap, fermented food and artisan vendors, live music, and a lot of fermentation fervor! We raised more than $4,000 for Central Texas farmers and ranchers. Thank you to the 1,000 people who attended in spite of light rain and chilly weather!
