Feta and Herb stuffeD FIgs

MARKET Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup black mission or Turkish figs (@emadi_acres_farm, @lightseyfarms)

  • Italian herb feta (@floreli.sunflower)

  • 2 Tbl fresh sage, finely chopped (@simple_promise_farms)

  • 2 Tbl pecans (@YeguaCreekFarms)

  • ½ Tbl honey (@roundrockhoney)

Directions:

  1. Toast the pecans: Finely chop the pecans and toast them in a dry skillet over low heat for 3–5 minutes, until fragrant. Set aside to cool.

  2. Prepare the figs: Trim the stems from the figs and slice each one in half. Using a small spoon, gently scoop out a small amount of flesh from the center to create space for the filling.

  3. Fill the figs: Spoon the herbed feta into the center of each fig half. Top with the toasted pecans and a small piece of fresh sage

  4. Finish and serve: Drizzle lightly with honey. Serve immediately and enjoy!
