The first annual Austin Fermentation Festival on November 15, 2014 featured keynote speaker Sandor Ellix Katz alongside 12 free fermentation workshops hosted by local chefs and artisans, a community culture swap hosted by ATXswappers, fermented food and artisan vendors, live music, and a lot of fermentation fervor! Thank you to the 2500+ people who attended!
Next year we’ll plan a larger venue with larger workshop rooms with hopefully some outdoor space to use in addition to indoor space.
