TFM AT LAKELINE MOVING TO *NEW* HOME AT THE BELL DISTRICT

Texas Farmers’ Market is excited to announce that our Saturday market is moving on May 25th to a new home at the Bell District! Click here to read our press release.

Texas Farmers’ Market (TFM) at Lakeline is set to become TFM at Bell, as the Saturday market prepares to move to the new Bell District development next month. The farmers’ market is the first destination in the development to open, with dining, retail, recreation, and the new multi-story Cedar Park Public Library to follow. The market will be held at 200 S. Bell Boulevard every Saturday, starting May 25 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., all year round.

In addition to a more centralized location, the new market will have ample free parking, as well as more greenery, shade, and seating areas for the community to stop and stay a while. The market will continue to offer live music every weekend in addition to special kids programming during Second Saturdays and other special events. In the future, The Bell District itself will allow families to make a full day of their visit  by shopping at the market, enjoying the park and library, and supporting local retail and fine dining establishments.

TFM’s Saturday market has become the go-to farmers’ market for shoppers in Northwest Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, and the surrounding areas for the last 13 years. It has always been bolstered by the support of the dedicated local community of regular shoppers, and we’re excited to bring those shoppers, and our vendors, an improved market experience at the Bell District. In addition, we expect that this new location will bring even more members of the northwest Austin community out to discover this market to support our vendors and local food system.

The new location is just 4 miles up the road from the Lakeline mall. Please refer to the maps below for directions from the previous location and information on where to park.

Why did the market move?

The decision to move our Saturday market to The Bell District was made for the long term benefit of our vendors and shoppers. Short term benefits include being a more centralized location in Cedar Park, as well as increased shade, greenery, and seating areas for shoppers to sit and eat while enjoying live music. In the future, The Bell District is set to include residences, retail, restaurants, and more, encouraging families to make a full day of their visit by shopping at the market, enjoying the park and library, and supporting local retail and fine dining establishments. The new market location presents a more sustainable, long term opportunity for our market to grow and draw increased foot traffic, leading to more success for our market vendors. TFM also looks forward to being able to partner with other surrounding businesses like the new Cedar Park Library, for market programming to enhance our shoppers’ experience.

Will the Sunday market still be at Mueller?

Yes, TFM at Mueller will continue to operate every Sunday from 10am-2pm at the Branch Park Pavilion  at 2006 Philomena Street.
