Red River Gardens specializes in native plants and pollinators, rare herbs, and connecting families and children to gardens with fun educational activities! Their plant offerings include lavender, passion flower, rosemary, butterfly food like milkweed & coneflower, and plants/herbs like pasote, moringa, and coriander, which connect people from all over. Nain often travels to schools to connect children and families to the science and fun of having a garden. He shows kids how fun a project like tending to a caterpillar’s lifecycle can be and how to continue the learning at home. At the Red River Gardens booth you find everyone having fun – kids and adults alike – learning about native plants, holding caterpillars and butterflies, and taking home plants for their at home pollinators. Watch a video of a butterfly hatching at their booth at market!
