Kelsie, the owner/kolache connoisseur of Moonstone Baking, moved to Austin in 2016 and found a love of baking soon thereafter. Following her passion for making kolaches she then uncovered her family history that both of her great-grandparents were Czech bakers! “A breakfast food with familial roots and a silly name has become my own symbol of independence,” says Kelsie.
