Vendor Spotlight: Three Six General

Three Six General is a butcher shop in San Marcos that focuses on local sourcing. They get their whole hogs from Peaceful Pork and the majority of their beef from Heartbrand Akaushi. They do all of the butchering, sausage making, curing and smoking in house. At the farmers’ markets they sell their bacon, ham, smoked sausages, and a few other items including smoked chicken salad, pimento cheese, pickled vegetables, and fermented foods! They recently started their own charcuterie and dry aged beef programs, and invite farmers’ market customers to come see the extended product line at their shop in San Marcos.  Find them every Saturday and Lakeline and Sunday at Mueller!
