Community Composting

Community composting has returned to TFM at Lakeline on Saturdays! Due to logistical issues, the program at Mueller is still suspended until further notice. Thank you for understanding.

In an effort to achieve our goal of a zero-waste market and community, Texas Farmers’ Market runs donation-based community composting programs at both of our farmers’ markets. We welcome everyone to drop off their frozen compost scraps during farmers’ market hours. On Saturdays you can drop your compost off at TFM Lakeline at the info booth from 9am-1pm.

The program is a joint venture between Texas Farmers’ Market and Break it Down and sponsored by Pella of Austin. If you have any questions regarding the Community Composting program, please contact Nora Chovanec here.
