Be one of the first to taste Chef/Owner Carlos Ysaguirre’s seasonally influenced homegrown cuisine featuring the best produce from our Texas farmers. Texas native Chef Carlos is back in his home state after a 10-year tenure in Chicago’s best restaurants as executive chef/partner at Anteprima, Acre and Ombra. Chef Carlos worked closely with local farms such as Spence Farms and Chicago’s Evanston Farmers Market to offer seasonal menus to his restaurant’s guests. Now he’s home to open up The Red Wattle and highlight the fruits of our Texan farmers’ labor.
